is the name of the Kiwanis club formed as the result of the September 2009 merging of the Iona-Mcgregor and the Fort Myers-Metro clubs and the subsequent 2012 merging with the Fort Myers South club. The mergers were undertaken to increase the reach and effect of the community services the members of the clubs accomplish.
Our club is a community service organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. We do this by developing fellowship, networking, education, leadership and community service opportunities for our volunteer members who better our community through all kinds of hands-on projects, with special emphasis on child development and safety and youth leadership training through service.
Our club meets every Tuesday at 11:30 AM (attendees are encouraged to arrive
a few minutes early to socialize). Meetings adjourn no later than 12:30 PM and
include a speaker of interest to the community. We meet at the Shoeless Joe's
Restaurant, 13051 Bell Tower Drive (Crowne Plaza Hotel at Bell Tower).
Our meetings are open to the public. If you are bringing 4 or more
people, please contact us so we can set up in advance. Lunch cost is $14.00. We
accept cash or checks (sorry, no credit cards). Please go to our meetings page for more information.
